How we test — and why it's public
A certificate of analysis is only meaningful if it's independent, current, and matched to your exact vial. Here is the standard every VeriPeptides batch passes before it ships.
1. Synthesis
Every peptide is synthesized at a US facility under documented SOPs. The synthesis address appears on each COA — no overseas drop-shipping, no anonymous PO boxes.
2. HPLC purity
High-performance liquid chromatography quantifies purity, separating the target peptide from synthesis-related impurities. We hold a ≥98% threshold and publish the exact figure per lot.
3. Mass spec identity
Mass spectrometry confirms the molecule is the peptide it claims to be by matching the molecular profile — the check that catches mislabeled or substituted material.
4. Endotoxin (LAL)
For any product intended for injectable research models, a Limulus Amebocyte Lysate assay screens for bacterial endotoxins.
5. Sterility & fill
Filled vials carry a sterility statement consistent with USP <71> practice, with controlled lyophilization and capping.
6. Batch matching
The lot number on your vial is the lot number on the COA. The result is posted publicly and stays searchable for the life of the batch.
